Studio Ponoc might not have meant much to Hayao Miyazaki / Ghibli Studio fans. This is about to change with its latest release of its debut film - Mary and Witch's Flower.

Studio Ponoc is founded by the former lead film producer of Ghibli Studio, Yoshiaki Nishimura, who produced a number of the hit animation films such as Howl's Moving Castle, The Tale of Princess Kaguya and When Marnie Was There. Its latest debut release of Mary and the Witch's Flower during summer in Japan has received very positive feedbacks and finally the English dubbed version is underway.

The movie's main character Mary reminds fans of Kiki's Delivery Service. However the movie has a completely different take. It tells the story of Mary who stumbles upon the magical flower which leads her to the discovery of the world of magic. She then joins Hogwarts...ok not quite, but below is the amazing trailer that you will definitely enjoy!
